Green Jacket Tournament 2024

MSG9 President Dennis Simmons Congratulates Green Jacket Tournament Winner Ron Hasemann May 10th, 2023

The Green Jacket Tournament is the annual MSG9 Champions Tournament. This tournament is strategically scheduled in late April, following “The Master’s Tournament” in Augusta.

MSG9 plays three (3) consecutive Fridays, nine (9) holes each round at Tara Club. The best two (2) net scores per player account for their final score. The winner is awarded the Green Jacket.

An established GHIN HCP plus ten (10) MSG9 league rounds are required to participate in the tournament.

2024 Tournament Dates:
Friday, April 19th – Friday, April 26th – Friday, May 3rd

Registration Dates:
2024 Green Jacket Registration Ends April 12th.

MSG9 Social Cup 2024

The 2024 MSG9 Social Cup is a Four-Man Team Event.

Each Team is assigned a Team HCP based on the average GHIN HCP of those four players. Each player will submit a 9-hole Gross Score for Monticello and also for Tara. At the end of each round, team members’ scores will be averaged to create one 9-hole Team Net-Score. The lowest 18-hole Team Net-Score over the two rounds is the winner.

2024 Tournament Dates:
Wednesday, September 4th, and Friday, September 6th
Playoffs and/or Rain Days as necessary: Sept. 11th & 13th.

Registration Deadline is Friday, August 30th.
A Team Registration Form is Required.

Awards Presentation:
September 18th, 2024 during the Picnic at the Pavilion.

Join us as we gather to celebrate the start of FALL, cooler temperatures, and the friendship and fellowship of our members during the annual Picnic at the Pavilion.
